Trauma and Fracture Management

Dr Calabro has subspecialty training in orthopaedic trauma management with a special interest in complex lower limb trauma.  He manages selected upper limb fractures of the elbow and wrist. Procedures Dr Calabro offers for trauma management include:

• Ankle arthroscopy (key-hole) surgery

• Ankle ligament stabilisation/reconstruction.

• Fracture fixation

• Complex periarticular fracture management (Fractures involving joints)

• Lacerations and penetrating soft tissue injuries

• Tendon ruptures
